Whether it's a thesis topic, or a project at work, it's always wise to know your audience.
Masters theses should reveal a capacity to carry on independent study or research and should demonstrate the student's ability to use the techniques employed in their field of investigation.
Doctoral dissertations should demonstrate technical mastery of the student's field and advance or modify current knowledge.
At least six team members should comply with the condition of involvement in the syllabus (see above).
The final number of team members that can personally assist and participate in the execution of the experiments (should the team be selected) will depend strictly on the requirements of the experiment itself and is subject to acceptance from the Selection Board.
One important condition is that the experiment must be an integral part of at least one student's thesis.
This can be achieved through a master's thesis, a Ph D thesis, a research programme or any form of project supported by the applicant’s university.
While it is one task to write the thesis, it is a whole other task to choose your topic.
This topic will in fact, govern the rest of the project and its outcome.
